Hidden in the old tunnels beneath the United States Military Academy is a creature that should be dead. After all, the creature was hanged in 1779. But it’s hard to kill an endosym.

Its name is Duncan McDougal. In order for the conquest of Earth to begin, the unborn child of Samantha and Tim Martin first must die.

Hunted by the endosyms, Tim and Sam find a safe haven in the ancient village of Zigda deep in the jungles of West Africa. There, they will learn the secret as to why their unborn child may be the only human being capable of stopping the endosyms.

From the United States Military Academy, to New York City, and into the jungles of West Africa, the battle between the endosyms and the Martins escalates.
